Review methodology
Every product review follows the same seven checkpoints. We order the item, log how long the agent takes to reply, confirm the purchase, and note when the parcel checks in at the warehouse.
- Order placement and agent timing. We record the time from order submission to first agent reply, to purchase confirmation, and to warehouse check-in. Slow replies count against the service, not the product.
- QC photo review. We request the standard QC set, count the angles, and compare the photographed measurements against the listing. We note lighting, label legibility and whether stitching, soles or prints are shown clearly.
- Warehouse handling. We ask for a re-weigh and re-measure, then repeat both on our own bench scales and tape board. Differences above 50 g or 1 cm are recorded.
- Consolidation. Test parcels of two to five items are built and packed. We record packed weight, volumetric weight and the final chargeable weight, and note whether the box arrived dented.
- Shipping line test. Where possible we split identical parcels across two lines and compare cost, transit days, tracking updates and customs handling.
- Hands-on checks. Apparel and footwear are checked against the size chart with insole and chest measurements. Electronics are powered on and used for at least seven days. Materials, stitching, hardware and packaging condition are photographed.
- Comparison table. Cost, transit, communication and product accuracy are entered into a table so the score can be compared with earlier tests.
Scores use a five-point scale: 5 excellent, 4 good, 3 adequate, 2 poor, 1 very poor. Hands-on scores for products we ordered and tested use the full 1 to 5 scale. Each review shows which checkpoints were passed, which were borderline and which failed.
Records and comparison limits
Chargeable-weight comparisons identify parcel contents, destination, line and quote date. Product fit is assessed separately from agent timing and shipping performance; customs outcomes from one order are not a guarantee for another.
